Join us this Thursday for the talk from the "Nerd Coach" -- Dr. Emma Williams. The talk will take place 15th February in Wolfson Lecture Theatre at the Department of Chemistry, starting at 6:00PM. The talk will be followed by a book signing event for Dr. Emma Williams' book "The Unique Guide for Women", and a dinner with the speaker. Abstract:

From wanting to be the next Stephen Hawking to being an author, coach and trainer my talk will focus on the career lessons learnt along the way. Undergrad physics, experimental physics PhD, medical MRI postdoc, researcher developer all at Cambridge until I moved out to run my own researcher development business.
