Committee Elections
As part of this new year, we will elect a new committee. Being on the CiW committee is a fantastic opportunity to meet other physicists, explore your scientific interests, and develop useful skills of organising and running events. It gives you the opportunity to lead!
If you are interested in running for a committee position, please send your name, pronouns, position, and ~1 page with your manifesto or information on why you are running (which we will circulate prior to voting), to cavendishiw@gmail.com, by 8 am, Tuesday Oct 21. If you have any questions or want to discuss more about what being a committee member means, please also reachout, we can answer questions by email or organise a time to talk!
Annual General Meeting
CiW will begin organising plans for the year at the AGM (annual general meeting), on Teams, Oct 23 at 17:00-18:00. We encourage everyone to join (even if you are not interested in joining the committee) to hear more about CiW, and provide ideas or feedback on what we can do in the year.
